  • • Import your PNG logo (transparent background)
  • • Drag logo to timeline, center it
  • 2. Scale Animation:
  • • Go to frame 0, press S for Scale
  • • Click stopwatch, set Scale to 0%
  • • Go to 1 second (frame 30)
  • • Set Scale to 100%
  • 3. Opacity Animation:

  • • Your logo should 'pop in' smoothly!

Adding Polish and Effects

  • Take it from good to GREAT:
  • Add Motion Blur:
  • • Click the motion blur icon on your layer
  • • Enable global motion blur (comp panel button)
  • • Fast movements now look cinematic
  • Add a Background:
  • • Layer → New → Solid (match comp size)
  • • Choose brand color or gradient
  • • Drag below logo layer
  • Add a Glow:
  • • Select logo layer
  • • Effect → Stylize → Glow
  • • Subtle glow makes logos pop
  • Add Particle Effects (Advanced):
  • • Use CC Particle World (built-in)
  • • Or download free particle templates
  • Add Sound:
  • • Import a 'whoosh' or 'logo sting' sound
  • • Many free options online
  • • Sound makes animations 10x more impactful

Exporting Your Animation

  • Different platforms need different settings:
  • For Social Media (Instagram, Facebook):
  • • File → Export → Add to Render Queue
  • • Output Module: H.264 (MP4)
  • • Or use Adobe Media Encoder for faster rendering
  • Recommended Settings:
  • Instagram/TikTok: 1080×1920 or 1080×1080, MP4
  • YouTube: 1920×1080 or 3840×2160, MP4
  • Website: MP4 or WebM (smaller file size)
  • For Clients:
  • • Always deliver MP4 (universal playback)
  • • Also offer MOV with alpha (transparent background)
  • • Include different versions (square, vertical, horizontal)
  • Pro Tip: Use Adobe Media Encoder — it's faster and you can keep working in After Effects while rendering.
