A Prompt is simply what you type to an AI. It is your instruction, your question, your request. Every time you talk to ChatGPT or Claude — that message is a prompt.

Most people type lazy prompts and get lazy answers. A good prompt is like giving clear directions. The more specific you are, the better the result.

A good prompt has 4 things: Role — tell AI who to be. Task — tell AI what to do. Context — give background information. Format — tell AI how to reply.
